ABOUT BARRY
Barry Johnson is a songwriter, performer, and music producer. His appearances in the US and abroad include music festivals, concert halls, conferences, and TV and radio. He’s had the privilege of performing with Allman Brothers’ guitarist Dan Toler, Gospel legend Jesse Dixon, and CCM artists Paul Baloche, Tommy Walker, and Karen Lafferty.
Co-produced by legendary Allman Brothers' audio guru Bud Snyder, Barry's album "Tenacious Grace" is steeped in classic rock vibes, thick guitar tones, soul-beckoning Hammond B3 organ riffs and soulful background vocals.
Barry’s introduction to music started when he was 12 living in Tulsa, Oklahoma, taking guitar lessons from Tulsa music legend Dick Gordon. Barry's parents got him his first guitar—a red Rickenbacher knock-off.
As a producer and songwriter, Barry is known to collaborate with many local musicians and singers, focusing on their musicianship, sound quality and musical arrangements.
